Turning a faucet and having water come out is an everyday expectation for Americans, but it is a luxury for many in the world. CVN had to rely on water trucked in and stored in a tank. The children and staff had to be extremely conservative with this precious resource. Imagine the challenge of cooking, cleaning and washing clothes for all the children and staff with limited water.
CVN now has an abundance of water from their new, 250 foot deep well pumping into the home and their water storage tank (using solar panels and electric water pumps). A very special thank you goes to Barbara Judson for helping make this well happen. Barbara received a plaque from the children to thank her for her help with the water well. There was a Water Well Presentation made during the June 24, 2017 visit trip complete with a very special video chronicling the well’s construction and the excitement of the children.
