Maya is an 11 year-old girl from Tucson who found out about CVN on the Valley Presbyterian Church web site. She organized a huge school-wide clothing drive at Canyon View Elementary in May, 2017. The kids, teachers and staff at Canyon View were enthusiastically supportive of the cause. The drive brought in more than three full SUVs worth of clothing, shower items, and some toys. Maya visited CVN during the June trip, and is committed to finding other ways that kids can help kids.
