December 10, 2022 – Christmas Trip to the Home for Children

Wow! What a trip – best ever.
I wanted to share with everyone the joy and blessings the children and guests received during this Christmas trip. After arriving, we (24 people from Green Valley) received an overview of the home and RISE Scholastic Achievements. After all 33 children were introduced; they performed five very special and very professional dance routines. Next, we took a tour of the facility; followed by lunch. Afterwards, the kids received their Christmas gifts but waited to open them until all kids had received their gifts. A count down started then BAMB – everyone started opening up their gifts. It was the classic “Christmas morning of kids tearing into their gifts while the parents/grandparents looked on in amazement” event. A big hit was the personalized Christmas Cards. Thank you for your sponsorship of these kids. Our trip back home only had a 60 minute wait at the border. It was a great day to share the love of Jesus Christ with these children. Thank you all for your love and generosity you have given to these deserving children.
